There are 2 activities here to help you understand and master writing chemical formulae ...

1. Completing the ionic grid.

Watch the video and complete the worksheet.

2. Formulae jigsaw.

Download, print and cut out the jigsaw pieces (In rectangles will do - don't waste your time cutting each piece precisely!)

Match the jigsaw pieces of each bonding atom .... make sure all "bonding arms" are joined up and the compound is complete!
