About Me

Hi cookie lovers! My name is Kaitlyn Heimall and I am the owner/baker of LJ Cookie Co.

I started this business in New Jersey back in 2016 when I was only 18 years old! I was attending college full time, working part time at a dance studio, and filling cookie orders full time! I am super hard working and very dedicated to my business.

My family recently moved to Lexington, SC from NJ and I am so excited to make cookies for my new neighbors!

LJ Cookie Co. is named after my family's beloved bulldog, Levi James. He passed away in January of 2021 shortly before we moved to Lexington.

It has been heartbreaking not having him with us, especially in a new place that we know he would've loved so much.

He is my mascot and you will see his face on all things related to LJ Cookie Co. including my logo!
