I have been lucky enough to work with leaders and volunteers at all levels of the Democrats Abroad organization in the years since 2017.

I wholeheartedly endorse Liz Voss to represent Democrats Abroad at the Democratic National Convention this August. Liz can speak with personal expertise and enthusiasm about DA's work from the grassroots to global committees. Liz's long record of hard work and remarkable accomplishments proves that she will be an extraordinary member of the DA team, first in preparing to make the most of every opportunity and then at the Convention itself.
As RVC, I worked with Liz to invigorate and unify DA Switzerland. She was the lynchpin of its renaissance, skillfully bringing people together across geographies and personal backgrounds. Both her talents and her time-consuming efforts were often needed, and she always delivered with good humor and understanding for others. This in addition to her passion for the everyday organizing of events and voter registration! At the same time, Liz was also making indispensable contributions with other groups at the regional and global levels.
At global and regional meetings during my tenure, she volunteered to solve problems and filled key roles in person. Sacrificing relaxation and sightseeing, Liz arrived with a commitment to the success of each meeting for everyone involved. Her care for details and good ideas meant that her help was always valuable. Liz was especially vital for the 2020 delegate selection process, when she chaired Biden's PPG elections. Her preparation and leadership resulted in a smooth session under unprecedented and unpredictable pandemic conditions. Note that, in taking that role, Liz had to cede her right to run for a delegate position in 2020. Liz's singular focus on the good of DA will continue in the 2024 National Convention, making DA look good and improving the experience for everyone involved.
Through her enduring dedication and skillfulness, Liz Voss consistently exemplifies the best of Democrats Abroad (DA). While her track record of involvement and leadership speaks for itself, what her history and accomplishments cannot adequately convey is the style and nature of how she does whatever she takes on. That appreciation comes only through knowing and collaborating with her directly.
I have known Liz from my earliest days with DA and have had the good fortune to work alongside her while she has been a local, national, and global leader. Liz’s style is not one of great drama but rather understated effectiveness. Her success stems from her passion for the work of DA. It would be difficult to enumerate the times Liz has added a vacated role to her list of responsibilities. She has a remarkable habit of stepping up and stepping in, whenever needed. The quintessential team player capable of wearing multiple hats, she even does it all with a smile.
Across her varying roles, Liz inspires others with her tireless energy, constant resourcefulness, technical savvy, and ready welcome. She readily shares knowledge, offers support, and looks for opportunities to further the cause. Her leadership is an admirable version of not asking others to do anything she wouldn’t do herself; no matter how small or big the task. She both teaches and learns. She is open, yet discrete; organized, yet flexible; and structured, yet adaptable. In short, Liz strikes the delicate balance requisite for leadership and democracy.
Liz is uncompromising in her commitment to the principles and goals of DA. As part of the 2024 DA Delegation to the DNC, she will bring the same spirited determination as she has to her DA work in Switzerland. She will undoubtedly prepare, collaborate, and innovate with her usual clear focus and good humor. I cannot imagine a more thoughtful, hardworking, and impassioned representative than Liz Voss.
There aren't enough superlatives in the English language to describe what an incredible asset Liz Voss is to DACH, Dems Abroad, and the US Democratic Party. She is indefatigable, one of the most driven women I know. She is a true diplomat, well-connected and welcoming. Helpful and humorous. Genuine and generous. There are few women I know that have travelled so far in their lifetime and still push themselves to go further. I have loved working with her these last few years and I know that anyone that gets to work with her at the DNC will feel the same way. As someone who has been to the Convention (in Chicago... for Clinton-Gore!!) I know she will serve the DA delegation well and make the most of it. Liz has my whole and unreserved support.
Liz Voss knows the value of strong organizing and ensuring that leadership is not a title - it is action. Democrats Abroad is lucky to have someone who believes in strengthening the party and ensuring voters have a choice in elections back home. I think she will speak as a strong and effective voice for the DA Delegation in Chicago, and that’s why I endorse her for Delegate!
Liz is an amazing contributor to both the work of Democrats Abroad and the culture. In meetings she radiates positivity while providing great solutions that are thoughtful and to the point. She leads by example and always provides the two most important elements that we can bring to our volunteers - hope and energy.
I strongly recommend voting for Liz as a delegate. I think she would represent us extremely well in Chicago - she knows who we are and how to tell our story, she is a great team player, and she will be a true asset in helping keep everyone's energy and enthusiasm going throughout the long week.
TLDR: Liz Voss is awesome and I fully and whole heartedly endorse Liz Voss for DNC delegate!
Liz Voss is truly one of the most dedicated, hard working, and well-intentioned persons I know - in all of her work both in and outside of DA. Liz Voss served two terms as Vice Chair in DA Switzerland (DACH). One of which under my predecessor and one alongside myself. During both tenures Liz was the literal steady foundation of knowledge and support. As a new chair, both new in terms of tenure, DA leadership, and to DA, I knew I could turn to Liz for questions on procedures, history, and advice. Her high level of competence, levelheadedness, action, and organization makes her a highly sought after member both to myself, our internal team, and to DA international - yet despite this, Liz still manages to make herself extremely available to support at any level.
On a personal note - during my tenure as DACH chair, my kidneys unfortunately failed and I had to spend over a year of my tenure in poor health on dialysis. Nearly the entire reason why DACH was able to function and maintain its high membership during COVID, and seamlessly transition to the next generation is due to Liz Voss's incredible work - in retrospect it feels almost silly calling her Vice Chair during that time. For all intents and purposes she was the Chair (and secretary) for most of my tenure; though I know her humility wouldn't have it. In fact, as I understand it she views her role as a necessity of function rather than the often-sought ego decoration title. A truly self-less leader.
If it wasn't already abundantly clear: Liz Voss IS what makes DA great. Not only do I support Liz for delegate - she more than deserves it. But also, we need more people like Liz Voss in DA. As an organization that thrives off of incredible volunteers, and at such tremendously tumultuous times, we *need* to highlight wonderful people like Liz Voss that breathe life, stability, competence, and community into our organization.
So proud to have Liz lead us in Switzerland!
Liz has demonstrated exceptional commitment and energy to Democrats Abroad over many years...always ready to lend a hand on every front. I think she would represent Democrats Abroad with honor as a delegate at large and has my full throttled support.
I've worked with Liz over the past year and I value her experience and dedication enormously. She's the best possible candidate I can think of for delegate at this critical moment in our precious democracy! I endorse her wholeheartedly.
Liz Voss is a hard-working, dedicated, reliable and tenacious leader. Having been a delegate myself, I know what the demands of being a delegate entail, and I know Liz is more than capable of the commitment and wholeheartedly representing Dems Abroad in Chicago. Very glad to endorse her for 2024 DA Delegate!
Liz represents some of the best Democrats Abroad has to offer, and I am confident she would represent us well in Chicago.
I can think of no one better suited to represent Democrats Abroad than Liz Voss. Liz not only exemplifies the values of the Democratic Party, she lives out those values with her dedication to DA. She has gone above and beyond to learn how the organization works and hone her skills so that she can help us be more efficient and effective at the local, national, regional, and global levels. Liz is sending the confirmation emails for events, staying up until all hours of the morning for DPCA meetings, and stepping up to serve on committees that require sometimes tedious work and very little glory. She has served in “interim” positions more times than I can count just to ensure we can keep doing the hard work of helping US citizens vote. I cannot overstate how critical Liz is to DA Switzerland. She is the heart and soul of our team. Her perspective as someone with such a deep understanding of DA will serve us well at the Democratic National Convention in August, and I wholeheartedly support her candidacy!
