Dr. Turner has experience conducting ensembles at the K-12 and collegiate levels for diverse student populations, including first-generation college students, at risk youth, and English as a 2nd language students. I love introducing students to a variety of genres including classical, contemporary pop, jazz, and showtunes!
Recent Choral Performances with Georgetown Visitation include annual fall, Christmas, winter, and spring concerts, school-wide Masses, and field trips to sing at Mt. Vernon, Holy Trinity, Georgetown Fall Market, Eastern Market, Belmont-Paul Women's Equality Museum, and hotels around the Capitol.
At St. Thomas University, some of my most memorable moments including conducting at a Miami Dolphins football game and Florida Marlines Baseball game! As well as Masses in St. Anthony's Chapel, annual semester concerts, and community outreach at Ronald McDonald House.
As a teaching artist, I've had the pleasure of working with choruses both big and small from beginning to advanced levels in private, parochial, and public school settings in New Hampshire, Boston, New York City, Miami, and Washington D.C.
