Liyuan Dong

I am a postdoctoral research associate at the division of social science at New York University Abu Dhabi. I hold a PhD in Economics from National University of Singapore, a M. Sc. in Economics from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a B.A. in Economics from Jinan University.

My research interests are in macroeconomics, applied to both developed and developing economies. My papers focus on understanding, i) how heterogeneous firms and households respond to shocks; and ii) family economics and inequality.
