Hi, I'm Liviya! I'm currently a junior at UVM studying Environmental Science with a concentration in Geology and a minor in Geospatial Technologies.
This year I will be working in the Spatial Analysis Lab on campus. I'm a huge fan of maps and enjoy using GIS to work with environmental or geologic data.
I like being outside, and my favorite outdoor activities are running, hiking, and especially nordic skiing!
I'm excited to take this class because I love earth sciences and I'm very interested in how landscapes are altered over time due to both natural and anthropogenic causes. I also find geologic hazards such as earthquakes and landslides fascinating and hope to learn more about them!
