At Living Waters, we believe that learning is a lifelong journey and that our stories, paired with God's story of love and grace, our lives are better, when we share our experiences with one another. Rooted in God’s grace, we create opportunities for children, youth, and adults to grow in faith, ask honest questions, and deepen their understanding of Scripture and discipleship. Curiousity is welcomed. Community and connection are built through a variety of experiences. Come and discover how God is at work in everyday life.
We have a vibrant children's ministry which includes Sunday School for ages 3 years old - 5th grade which takes place during the school year immediately following worship.
We also partner with St. Mark Lutheran in Circle Pines for Vacation Bible School (VBS) each August. This year it will take place at Living Waters, in the evening from August 10-13.
Our 6th -9th graders participate in a variety of learning modules that build the foundations of faith. The modules include an overview of the Bible, Lutheran Theology 101, Lord's Prayer, Apostle's Creed and the Sacraments.
The Confirmation schedule is based on the group members schedules and rotates to different times depending on the season of the year.
The adults of our church are curious about the connections between faith and daily life. We provide a variety of opportunities for adult to grow in their understanding of God's love including weekly studies and conversation after worship on Sunday, a once a month Bible survey class with our resident New Testament scholar, and topic based classed about faith in the public sphere.
During the summer months, we host a church book club, reading one non-fiction book and one fiction book. We will be discussing the following books on these dates:
Sunday June 28:
"The Power of Fun: How to Feel Alive Again" by Catherine Price
Sunday July 26:
" Theo of Golden" By Allen Levi
