OUR STORY

Living Room Productions is one of the few theater companies entirely run and produced by teenagers. We began doing shows in the summer of 2022 an unofficial production of Matilda the Musical. We rehearsed for nine months before finally performing with a cast of only nine people! During the summer of 2023, our production of Legally Blonde had a larger cast of fifteen people. After Legally Blonde, word about our small theater spread. In February 2024, we finally became an official company with our first licensed production Little Shop of Horrors. Since then, every round of auditions hosts over forty people. Our summer 2024 production of 13! the Musical was our next production, with our first moving set pieces. Our most recent production of The Addams Family performed February 2025. During this show we faced our first challenging makeup tasks! Alice by Heart was performed in the summer of 2025. We explored deep themes and stories from World War II. Just after, we performed Dogfight as our first small show with only 4 weeks of a rehearsal process. Then, our fall production of Into the Woods had us navigating the challenges of Sondheim. Our most recent production was Ruthless! the Musical, our second small show. Over the past four years, our Living Room Productions has blossomed into a fully functioning theater company, and we could not be more thankful for all of the love and support we have received along the way.
