How to register?
This event is exclusively open to 20 young/early career researchers/professionals. If you wish to participate, tell us why you're interested in joining this event and how your work, experience, motivation, or interests could contribute to the workshop (150-200 words).
Please complete the registration form. While the registration deadline is September 7th, it's important to note that the selection process may take place at any time. Those who meet the requirements will receive immediate notification upon selection.
Use the link until the 7th of September to submit your 150-200 word mini-essay.
Requirements for selection
We welcome PhD or Master's students, as well as young/early stage researchers from diverse backgrounds who have an interest in coastal and marine studies (various disciplines are accepted).
You should be willing to contribute with a 5 min pitch about your work in related projects (it will be presented on Day 3).
You should be excited to work together with people from various fields in the coastal and marine areas.
Your work could cover subjects like geology, numerical modeling, hydroacoustics, sedimentology, morphology, hydrodynamics, biodiversity, infrastructure, social development, and politics in coastal and marine environments.
Make sure you have the funds to cover your travel and expenses for the Barranquilla, Colombia event. If you're currently seeking funding, we can consider to hold a spot for you.
All activities will be in English, so language proficiency is required.
