Sanderien Verstappen - Mario Rutten - Isabelle Makay

Sanderien Verstappen is a social and visual anthropologist at the University of Vienna. 

Mario Rutten was Professor in Comparative Anthropology and Sociology of Asia at the University of Amsterdam. 

Isabelle Makay is anthropologist and documentary film maker. She teaches at the Design Academy Eindhoven.

Mario's passing in December 2015 filled us with sadness. We cherish the memories of making this film together, Mario's ways of generating joyful excitement and productive puzzlement, and the spirit of friendship that kept multiplying along the way.
