LIVESINSIDE PRIVACY POLICY

LivesInside respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the LivesInside mobile application, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
1. ABOUT LIVESINSIDE
LivesInside is a mobile entertainment application featuring an autonomous virtual character and interactive story experiences.
LivesInside does not currently require users to create an account or profile.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
A. Usage and analytics information
LivesInside uses PostHog to understand how people use the app and to improve the experience.
We may collect anonymous or pseudonymous usage information such as:
- app opens and returns
- session activity and approximate session duration
- progress through app days and story events
- completion of the First Encounter
- use of Moments and other app features
- notification permission choices
- anonymous feedback choices such as “Love it”, “It’s okay” or “Not for me yet”
- whether a user indicates that they would like the story to continue
- app version and basic technical information needed to understand app performance
LivesInside does not use PostHog to intentionally collect names, email addresses, free-text feedback, or message contents.
Analytics data is processed using PostHog’s European Union infrastructure.
Where session replay is enabled during testing, sensitive form fields and user-entered text are masked. Session replay is used only to understand usability and technical issues and not to collect the content of private communications.
3. CONTACT AND FEEDBACK FORMS
LivesInside uses Formspree to process contact and feedback forms.
Depending on the form, you may voluntarily provide:
- your name
- your email address
- feedback or comments
- a message to the LivesInside team
Providing this information is optional unless the form specifically requires an email address in order to fulfil your request.
For example, if you choose “Yes — tell me when” when asked whether you would like Mimo’s story to continue, an email address is required so that we can contact you when additional LivesInside content becomes available.
We do not use this email address for unrelated marketing without separate consent.
Form submissions are processed by Formspree and delivered to the LivesInside contact email account.
4. NOTIFICATIONS
LivesInside may ask for permission to send notifications.
You can accept or decline this permission through your device.
Your notification permission choice may be recorded as an anonymous analytics event so that we can understand how the feature is used.
LivesInside does not send the content of your private messages or feedback to analytics services.
5. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
Information is used only for purposes such as:
- operating LivesInside
- understanding how people use the app
- measuring retention and engagement
- improving stories, animations and user experience
- identifying technical or usability problems
- responding to messages and feedback
- contacting users who explicitly ask to be informed about future LivesInside content
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS
LivesInside currently uses:
PostHog
Used for product analytics and, where enabled, privacy-protected session replay.

Formspree
Used for contact, feedback and continuation-interest form submissions.

These providers process information according to their own privacy and security policies.
7. DATA SHARING
LivesInside does not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the app, such as PostHog and Formspree, for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information where required by law.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Anonymous analytics data may be retained for product analysis and improvement.
Messages, email addresses and feedback submitted through forms may be retained while they are useful for responding to users, evaluating the LivesInside pilot, or informing users who explicitly requested future updates.
Users may request deletion of personal information they have submitted to us.
9. DATA DELETION REQUESTS
LivesInside currently does not require user accounts.
If you have voluntarily provided personal information through a contact, feedback or continuation-interest form and would like it deleted, contact us using the privacy contact address below.
Please provide enough information for us to identify the submission you want removed.
10. CHILDREN
LivesInside is not designed to intentionally collect personal information from children.
Users should not submit personal information through feedback or contact forms if they are not legally permitted to do so in their jurisdiction.
11. SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect information and limit data collection to what is needed to operate and improve LivesInside.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy as LivesInside develops or if our data practices change.
The latest version will always be available at this page.
