AuraaByte ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Live Microphone: Voice Changer mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.
We prioritize user privacy and design our features to process data locally on your device whenever possible.
A. Device Permissions & Functional Data
To deliver core features such as real-time audio routing, voice effects, and recording, the App requests access to specific hardware and device features:
Microphone Access (RECORD_AUDIO): Required to capture real-time audio from your device so it can be streamed to connected Bluetooth speakers, modified with voice filters, or recorded.
Note: Real-time microphone audio used for live streaming is processed locally in temporary memory (RAM) and is never transmitted to our external servers.
Bluetooth & Nearby Devices (BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): Required to discover, pair, and route audio playback directly to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
Storage / Media Access (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required solely if you choose to save, export, or manage your recorded audio files on your local device storage.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MICROPHONE): Used to maintain uninterrupted audio streaming while the app runs in the background.
B. Text-to-Speech (TTS) Data
When using the Text-to-Speech tool, any text you input is processed locally on your device using your system’s built-in TTS engine. We do not store or collect the text you enter.
C. Automatically Collected Technical Data
Through standard third-party developer kits (such as crash-reporting tools or ad networks), we may collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic information:
Device model and manufacturer
Operating system version
App performance, crash logs, and diagnostic reports
Approximate location (country or region-level network data)
We use the information and permissions strictly to:
Operate the live microphone routing and Bluetooth playback pipeline.
Process real-time voice modification effects locally on your device.
Save and play back user-initiated audio recordings.
Monitor app stability, fix crashes, and optimize latency.
Serve in-app advertisements (if utilizing ad-supported tiers).
No Audio Surveillance: We do not continuously record or monitor your speech. Microphone input is only active when you explicitly engage a live streaming, testing, or recording session.
Local Storage: Audio files you choose to record are saved locally to your device’s file storage. We do not upload or back up your personal audio recordings to cloud servers.
The App may integrate third-party software development kits (SDKs) for analytics, monetization, and error tracking (e.g., Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics). These third parties may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or IDFA) according to their independent privacy practices:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or audio data to third parties.
Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us so we can take immediate corrective measures.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the integrity of the App. Because real-time audio routing and user recordings remain on your hardware, the security of your stored recordings also depends on your own device security settings.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
