Graduate students
We are looking for 1-2 graduate students to join our team in 2025.
Current Purdue graduate students: please email leeliu@purdue.edu to discuss research opportunities.
Prospective students: please plan to apply to the Purdue Chemistry graduate program. Interested students are also encouraged to email me to discuss research opportunities (please include your CV and a brief statement on your prior research experience).
Note for current Purdue Chemistry graduate students: Class IV laser safety training will be required for certain shadowing activities.
Postdocs
We are inviting applications for a postdoctoral associate position in Physical Chemistry. Traditional microwave or infrared laser spectroscopy is limited by restrictive selection rules, particularly in molecules with high symmetry. We develop non-linear laser spectroscopy techniques with high sensitivity, resolution, and frequency tunability to access the entire molecular state space and open up new opportunities in quantum science. We are also interested in optically manipulating collective properties of molecular crystals. Applicants should have a strong experimental background and a PhD in chemistry, physics, or engineering prior to the start date.
Please email Lee at leeliu@purdue.edu with your CV, contact information for your references, and a brief research statement outlining your interests and past experience.
