Kang Liu (刘康)
About me
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at Chair for Dynamics, Control, Machine Learning and Numerics – Alexander von Humboldt Professorship at the Department of Mathematics at FAU, directed by Enrique Zuazua.
I received my PhD degree in applied mathematics from Institut Polytechnique de Paris, under the supervision of Laurent Pfeiffer and J.Frédéric Bonnans from the DISCO group of Inria Saclay. Here is my thesis.
My research focuses on the following topics:
Large scale non-convex optimization and mean field optimization;
Mean field games and numerical methods;
Optimal control and machine learning.
