He received his B.Eng. degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2007. He received his M.Eng. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and his M.Sc. degree in Communication Systems from Lund University, Sweden, in 2009 and 2012, respectively.
Jianan has over ten years of experience in software and algorithm design and development. He has held senior R&D roles in several leading companies in AI consulting, automotive, and telecommunication industries, e.g. Zenseact, Silo AI, Volvo Autonomous Solution, Aptiv, Huawei, Ericsson, all in Sweden.
He has published/submitted several papers in top journals like Proceedings of IEEE, IEEE T-AI, IEEE T-IV, IEEE T-ITS, IEEE RA-L, IEEE J-BHI, IEEE T-AES, IEEE T-VT, and leading conferences including IEEE ICRA, IEEE ITSC, IEEE IV, IEEE ICASSP, FUSION, IEEE ISBI. His research interests include applying statistical signal processing and deep learning for medical image processing, wireless communications, IoT networks, indoor sensing, and outdoor perception using a variety of sensor modalities like radar, camera, LiDAR, WiFi, etc.
