ULTRA-PRECISE LaSer Sensing

Dr. Liuhao Ma joined the Department of Automotive Engineering at Wuhan University of technology as an Associate Professor and was a Co-PI at the Lab for Advanced Combustion (LAC). Liuhao previously worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the advisory of Prof. Ren Wei. He received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Thermal Energy and Power Engineering in 2012 and 2015 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and received Ph. D. degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His current research interests focus on high-temperature sensing in harsh environments (i.e., flame, engines, wind tunnels) using novel spectroscopic-based (Absorption/Dispersion/Raman) techniques, gas sensors for industrial applications and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation of non-reactive and reactive flows .
