Hello! I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Information Engineering Department at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), supervised by Prof. Chandra Nair, and Prof. Amin Gohari. My research interests are in network information theory, with an emphasis on broadcast channels.
My current research generally consists of two main components:
Investigating the extremal properties of certain information functionals related to the achievable region of broadcast channels.
Studying the "auxiliary receiver" approach to tighten the converse of broadcast channel capacity.
I am also interested in all aspects of information theory. I welcome discussions and potential collaborations. Please feel free to reach me out at ly023@ie.cuhk.edu.hk.
