LittleTree creator and designer Beth Banks, a North Carolina native, grew up in the Lake Norman area but is a mountain girl at heart. A former naturalist at Girl Scout camp, she has been devoted to Brevard College since 1993 when she first entered the doors as a student. Fun fact - Beth named her small business as a tribute to her Girl Scout camp name, LittleTree! Now an active community member in Brevard, Beth returned to the small town after earning her B.S. in Outdoor and Environmental Education from Northland College in Wisconsin in 1997. Beth loves the welcoming feel of Brevard, where friends can gather for a bite at Sunrise Cafe or a latte at Bill’s Boiler House, and is thrilled to be associated with the tight-knit community of Brevard College. Her LittleTree studio is just steps away from her Brevard home, surrounded by the most beautiful natural scenes NC has to offer. You might even decide to join Beth for a “polar plunge” in the nearby Davidson River! Plan a visit to check out Beth’s unique crafts inspired by organic elements. While you’re there, test out all of the original LittleTree mini-games Beth offers. LittleTree games provide entertainment and education with something fun for everyone. Families and friend groups love attending Beth’s LittleTree game events, often held at local shops and breweries, and shoppers frequent her booths at festivals around the area.
