Little Steps Home Daycare - Policies and Guidelines

Attendance & Payment Policy

Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Little Steps Home Daycare operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Families are expected to pick up their child at the scheduled time outlined in their enrollment agreement. Late pick-ups may result in an additional fee.

Absences
Parents/guardians are asked to notify the daycare of any absences by calling (773) 943-2447.

Holiday Closures
Little Steps Home Daycare is closed on weekends and select holidays, including December 23, 24, 25, 31, and January 1.

Tuition Payments
Tuition is due on time as agreed upon during enrollment. Late payments may be subject to a late fee.

Tuition Rates
Tuition rates vary depending on the child’s age and scheduled hours of attendance. For current rates and availability, please contact us at (773) 943-2447 or email directorlittlestepshomedaycare@gmail.com.

Registration & Enrollment Fees
A one-time, non-refundable registration fee and enrollment fee are required at the time of enrollment.

Refunds & Withdrawal
Tuition is not refunded for missed days or absences. Families are required to provide a two-week written notice when withdrawing from the program.

Health & Safety Policy

Illness Policy
For the health and safety of all children, any child displaying symptoms of illness (such as fever, vomiting, or diarrhea) must remain home and may return once symptom-free for at least 24 hours.

Medication Administration
Medication will only be administered with a valid doctor’s prescription and written authorization from a parent or guardian.

Emergency Preparedness
All staff members are trained and certified in CPR, First Aid, and Food Handling. Emergency drills are conducted regularly to ensure preparedness.

Photo & Video Policy

From time to time, Little Steps Home Daycare may take photos or videos of children participating in daily activities.

Written parental consent is required at enrollment.
Photos and videos are used for educational purposes, internal communication, or promotional materials.
No personal or identifying information will ever be shared.
