As a mom of two, I made the decision to leave my job in order to stay home with my youngest son, who was born prematurely. That experience changed everything. It opened my eyes to how important early care, attention, and love are in a child’s development.

Along the way, I began working closely with Early Intervention programs and realized that many of the mistakes we make as parents often come from a lack of knowledge—not a lack of love. That realization inspired me to study Early Childhood Education and gave me the tools to not only grow as a provider, but to become a better mother every day.

At Little Rock Family Child Care, learning happens through play, love, and meaningful interactions. We focus on the whole child, helping them grow emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually.
Our program encourages:

🧠 Cognitive Skills – Matching, sorting, puzzles, counting, shapes, early science.
🤝 Social-Emotional Growth – Learning to share, express emotions, follow routines, and build relationships.
✋ Fine and Gross Motor Skills – Activities that develop coordination, movement, and independence.
🎨 Creativity & Art – Daily opportunities to explore through painting, drawing, music, and dramatic play.
🧍 Self-Help & Independence – Learning daily life skills like cleaning up, using the bathroom, and managing transitions.
💖 Values & Kindness – We teach respect, empathy, and good manners from an early age.
Every activity is designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with early learning standards—laying a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond.
