Don't Throw Away! Recycle Children's Toys
It's likely that your child has outgrown his toys. There seems to not be enough space in the space to store his birthday toys. What about the basement or attic? Do you have enough space to store and pack his toys?
Instead of going down instead of taking the "hoarders" route or the "wasteful throw it away" option, why not try the recycling option? Are you aware of children who would like to play with the discarded toys of your child's toys? The toys your child has outgrown are an alternative to the toys of another child! This article is referring to your child's toys which are in good condition, playable and not damaged. When these toys are being used but they're also in a state that will permit them to be played with again. I'm not talking about broken toys, trucks with wheels that aren't there or dolls that have limbs missing or puzzles that have pieces missing don't qualify!

Your child may be able to be able to come to you on their own and inform you of other toys that he would like to give to other kids.

Goodwill, Salvation Army, and Other Charity Stores
If you donate to an organization such as Goodwill as well as Salvation Army, you are nearly giving two times! Not only do you feel the joy of knowing that the toy your child received will be loved by a different child as well, but you also enjoy satisfaction being aware that your charity has individuals to manage the organization.
Library
Of obviously, the library system is an excellent opportunity for children to get exposed to the world of books. Did you know that a lot of libraries also offer "toy check-outs"? These check-outs for toys function in similar to how book check-outs operate. They are also great alternatives for you to allow your child to play with new toys and games. The idea of donating your child's favorite toy at the library of your choice is a great idea even if your library doesn't offer a toy check-out. Most libraries have an area for children that has an toy box that is of a certain type.
Hospital
An excellent way to reuse your child's old toys is to give these to the pediatric department at the local hospital. If children are in hospital for lengthy or short periods it's always good to be able to access to brand new (to the kids!) toys.
Charities
Locations such as Boys Town or Ronald McDonald Houses are excellent recipient of toys that are used. Due to the number of children that live in these facilities there is a sense that they will always be in need of toys.
Schools
Your child may be enthused to donate the toys he doesn't want to give to his school. Children with special needs in classes typically require toys for development that could be used to teach various abilities. With all the budget cuts districts face Recycling toys would be loved!
