As performing arts programs are being removed from school curriculums, it is crucial that we preserve them. Little Majors Music&More provides a better means of recreation. Music is a great way to learn, connect with others, and worship!
Learning music helps with cognitive, social, and emotional development. Studies show that children who participate in musical activities perform better academically. Music helps improve memory, as well, and helps with social development. Learning music gives one the opportunity to connect with others that share the same interests. Our programs at Little Majors are designed to boost confidence and self-esteem. Cooperative activities and group activities where children are encouraged and empowered. Our children become better acquainted with public speaking and performing, too!
Those who learn music grow to the point where their skills may get them in cool careers and settings. Possible career paths may involve that of a local/national symphony, church music ministry, teaching, production/audio engineer...and so much MORE! These careers generate substantial income and allow one to connect with some pretty cool individuals. Being a part of the musical culture is like stepping through a door of endless opportunity!
Lastly, music is intentional and a univerSOUL language. It can be used for worship. God gave us this beautiful form of communication that was designed to move both spirit and mind. Music has the ability to help us release and remember. Music combined with God's truth has the power to lead one into a space to remember, release, and receive.
When the opportunity arises, seize it. Little Majors Music&More makes an effort to pull children away from social conformity and encourage them to step into their own authenticity and Christ ordained identity. We encourage the authenticity. We give opportunity. Music keeps us on beat! Whatever one chooses to do with the skill, and does so to the glory of God, it shall have a positive and lasting impact on their life. It can be an outlet, a means of social engagement, or a tool for spiritual enlightenment. Whatever the use may be, there are many ways music can be beneficial to one's growth and success.
Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD!
