- Your Job is to Read AR Books and Take Quizzes
- Your Points and Grades on your quizzes will determine your Pokémon Team's HP
- HP Formula: # of Points Earned + Grade Average / Number of Students in Grade= Weekly Pokémon HP
- Pokémon teams with the highest points will win the week battle against their rival, and move on to the championship
- Tournament Bracket Team Seeding will be determined by the HP earned during First week of March.
- Points will be calculated on Fridays, Battle Results will be shared on Monday. See Tournament Bracket Below or Tournament Bracket on Library Doors to View Standings each week.
- Bottom Line: Read Well and Test Often during March!

- Your Job is to Motivate Your Assigned Pokémon Team
- Ideas for Motivational "Boosts":
- Wear Pokémon Merch to Promote Your Team! (Color Your Own Headbands will be provided for ALL trainers on week 1, students can also wear Pokémon T-shirts to show support throughout the month...be sure to email pics so I can share with your grade level team!)
- Film a video or take pictures of you cheering for the readers to send to the classrooms.
- Send visitors to your team's classrooms to cheer them on or spray them with Hyper Potion! (Send students to me, and I can take them to the classrooms).
- Feel free to create your own strategies of motivation, Power up our Readers!
- Add to your team's HP: Be sure to share your motivational Boosts with Mrs. Hamm through email. The best Trainer Boost of the week will earn their team and extra +0.5 HP!
- Bottom Line: Cheer on the Love of Reading!
