Stony Creek flows through Cruickshank Park in Yarraville. 

In 1981, Cruickshank Park opened, and 50 years later they started a frog pond to care for all the tadpoles and frogs since they can't jump around in a polluted area. 

There are:

• four species of frogs in the park including the Banjo Frog, the Pobblebonk Frog, and the Spotted Marsh Frog. 

• 12 species of birds, and also possums. 

• six species of fish (three native, three invasive) 

Which makes it a special place to them, and us.
