My favorite thing about being an early childhood care provider is watching children learn new things and make new friends. I love how their eyes light up when they feel happy that they discovered something new and how excited they get to socialize with others their age. As a parent, I know how overwhelming it can be to leave children with others or new people, and I want this experience to be great for both parents and children and assure them they have a safe place to go, a "Home Away From Home."

Fees/Pricing per month
Pricing is based on the Registered Family Home Licensed Rate Group Area B 2026 RATES (ERDC rates will rise in January 2027).
All enrollment paperwork must be signed before care is provided. A vaccine record or exemption form must be provided at the time of enrollment. Enrollment is good for one year, and then a new policy must be signed with an updated vaccine record or updated exemption. Private pay is due before care is provided. If on ERDC, proof of ERDC/connecting my provider number to your account must be done before care is provided.
For drop-in care dates, I will need enrollment filled out prior to attending with payment of cash at drop-off or via Venmo at drop-off. Frequent drop-in care cancellation may result in needing to pay a week before attending with no refunds for no-shows.

⸻
🕒 Hours Among the Trees
Friday – Monday
⏰ 5:45 AM – 6:00 PM
Closed Tuesday – Thursday
Children must be awake at drop-off. Children will be awake at pickup. Parents are encouraged to give a quick goodbye at drop-off; this makes it easier for children who struggle with drop-off, as when parents stay longer, it typically makes it harder once their parent does leave. Provider is not responsible for unbuckling or buckling children.

FAQ:
Why do you require payment up front?
-Requiring payment up front protects Little Leaves Daycare LLC, as childcare providers have bills to pay and direct expenses up front to provide great care to the children in attendance. For those on private pay, there is the option to pay half of tuition on the 1st and the remainder on the 15th of each month. Nonpayment can result in termination of care.
Do you charge for missed days/holidays?
-Little Leaves Daycare LLC charges flat fees for part-time or full-time care. There is no discount for sick days or planned closures.
Is it required for my child to have all shots on the vaccine schedule to attend daycare?
It is a licensing requirement that I either have the vaccine record or a medical, religious or philosophical exemption on file.
Do you have pets?
Yes. I like keeping pets separate from the kids. (Licensing requires cats and dogs be vaccinated so they are) the outdoor cats sometimes greet on the front deck but typically are not in the backyard where kids play. I also have a pet pig and ducks and chickens; the kids love to watch from the playroom window and from the backyard. No direct access from the backyard to the farm animals. The front yard side gate to the animals is locked when daycare kids are in care due to licensing rules over the duck swimming pool.
How does nap time work?
Each child is assigned their own cot with clean sheets and a name-labeled nap mat/pillow. The baby is assigned a pack n play to sleep in with a clean sheet daily and following OCC-approved safe sleep training guidelines. Quiet activities will be provided for those who do not fall asleep within 30 minutes.
What will the typical day be like for my child?
-Monthly themes for the month (Example: Axolotl! The main activities/books and crafts will be based off the theme. Daily story time, activities such as flannel board stories, crafts/coloring, a weekly 'extra' fun craft, and daily outside time rain or shine. Those enrolled for part- or full-time care are assigned a sticker book to collect stickers for helping with playroom pick up.
Are meals included?
Yes, breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks, 3 snacks for those who are dropped off before 7AM. USDA nutritional guidelines. I also make sure all food served contains no dyes. I try to buy organic as much as possible.
How does drop-in care or date night care work?
Policy rules are followed and signed. Enrollment is needed before care is received. A tour with your child is welcome but not required. I will post on the Little Leaves Daycare LLC Facebook profile when drop-in care during the day is available, or feel free to reach out. The typical rate is $50 per child. I will post when rates are discounted. Date night care is $35 per child; feel free to reach out, as spots are limited for scheduling! (Tuesdays-Thursdays are possible with date night care.)
