Fees/Pricing per month
ERDC and Private pay accepted. Flat fee for part time/ full time regardless of the amount of hours in care. Full-time pricing is for anything over 135 hours per month. Part time pricing is for 135 hours and under per month. Breakfast/lunch/snacks are included in pricing.
Private pay payment is due before care is provided. Either lump sum or split in two payments.
Pricing is based on Registered Family Licensed Rate Group Area B (ERDC rates raise in January 2026 and January 2027)
All enrollment paperwork must be signed before care is provided. Vaccine record or exemption form must be provided at time of enrollment. Enrollment is good for one year and then new policy must be signed with updated vaccine record/ or updated exemption. Private pay is due before care is provided. If on ERDC proof of ERDC/ connecting my provider number to your account must be done before care is provided.

Philosophy/Mission Statement
The purpose of Little Leaves Daycare's facility is to promote a safe environment for learning, creativity, group play plus individuality in a nurtured environment home away from home.

Age and Number of Children Accepted
Little Leaves Daycare LLC will care for a maximum of 10 children. This number is based on the indoor and outdoor square footage of the childcare facility as well as the number of childcare providers on staff.
Little Leaves Daycare LLC provides care for children between the ages of 0 and 12 years. To provide quality childcare services, Little Leaves Daycare has established limits on the number of children in each age group as follows: Two children aged 2 and under
Four children aged 2 to 5
Four children aged 6 and up.
Little Leaves Daycare LLC strictly complies with childcare regulations regarding child-to-staff ratios.
Private Pay: Payment is due before the child can attend. The payment can either be made in full at the beginning of the month or split in half, the first payment due at the beginning of the month before the child is in care. The second is due in the middle of the month before the child attends for the remainder of the month.
ERDC Pay: Parents must pay ERDC Co-Pay by the 15th day of each month. If fees are not paid within 15 days of the due date, the child will not be allowed to attend the facility until all amounts due are received in full. If payment is not received, I reserve the right to inform ERDC and terminate childcare services. Parents are responsible for what ERDC does not cover.
Termination of Childcare Services
-Those on private may be suspended/terminated if pay is not received before the child is in care. Due date reminders will be sent via email/text the 23rd of each month.
- Failure to pay ERDC Co-Pay fee reminders will be sent via email/text on the 7th of each month. Failure to pay 15 days after the 15th of the month will result in termination of care unless another arrangement is agreed/signed upon.
Little Leaves Daycare retains the right to terminate a child's enrollment without notice for the following reasons:
- A child's behavior is destructive, uncontrollable, violent, or threatening to the other children or providers at the care facility. This determination is made in the sole discretion of the Provider.
- A parent's behavior is threatening or abusive to the other children or providers at the care facility.
All terminations of this type can be made effective immediately.

The parent is responsible for arranging for alternate childcare for closings when the provider is attending training classes and for emergency closings due to severe weather or closure due to illness.
The parent must provide Little Leaves Daycare with notice of absence of child when typically scheduled to be in care. Via email, text or call.
Program Activities
Little Leaves Daycare will provide daily activities, toys, and materials appropriate for each child's age level to entertain the child as well as facilitate the child's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
A child should not bring toys from home. Toy weapons, such as guns or knives, are absolutely prohibited. Little Leaves Daycare is not responsible for lost or broken toys brought from home.
Visitor Policy
No visitors not enrolled in CBR will have unsupervised access to children. In the case that someone is providing landscaping, or cleaning services a visitor log will be signed by that person.
Meals dye free and I try to buy organic or local as much as possible.
Mealtimes are as follows:
Breakfast: 8 AM (can be served later for those dropped off at a late morning time) Mid-morning snack: 6:30 AM and 10 AM Lunch: 12 PM Mid-afternoon snack: 2 PM and 4 PM (Snack times may vary according to the needs of each individual child)
Parents should inform Little Leaves Daycare of their child's favorite foods. Little Leaves Daycare may incorporate these foods into its menu.
Parents are not to send gum or candy, or outside food/drink.
Little Leaves Daycare will provide meals for children with special dietary needs.
All meals provided by Little Leaves Daycare will comply with the United States Department of Agriculture's nutritional guidelines.
Infants
Infants will be fed either formula or breast milk, both of which are to be supplied by the parent. The parent is responsible for providing baby food for as long as that is necessary.
The parents should provide Little Leaves Daycare with information regarding feeding times and other feeding instructions.
Diapers are checked on a regular basis and changed whenever reasonably necessary. After the diaper is changed, the diaper-changing area will be sterilized, and the provider's hands washed. Parents should provide Little Leaves Daycare with any special instructions regarding the use of diaper-changing products, such as powder or ointment.
Toilet Training
Little Leaves Daycare will assist with toilet training. However, the parents should first initiate the training at home. When training has started, the parent must supply training pants, pull-ups, or underwear with rubber pants.
Naps and Rest Periods
Nap time is as follows: REST OR NAP 10:30 AM-11:45 AM
REST OR NAP 2PM-3PM
Of course this can vary by the needs of each individual child/drop off time or time in care. A safe sleep area will be provided, with an individual cot for age 2 and up with a clean pillow and blanket daily. For those age 2 and under, the parent must provide a portable crib meeting the standards of Consumer Product Safety Commission and I will follow OCC approved safe sleep training guidelines.
Supplies
The parent is responsible for providing the following items to Little Leaves Daycare LLC for the benefit of the child whenever reasonably requested by Little Leaves Daycare: For infant (Formula with name of baby and date can is opened or properly labeled breast milk with baby name, date pumped or thawed. If frozen date pumped is still required and I will thaw and store in refrigerator and discard if not used within 24 hours) Also include Bottle, diapers/wipes/diaper rash cream or balm. 1 Change of clothes.
For non potty trained kids pull ups/ wipes/ if needed diaper rash cream or balm, Change of clothes plus Jacket
Potty trained PreK extra underwear, 1 change of clothes, plus jacket
School aged extra change of clothes
Label the bag of extra change of clothes with your Child's name
For those above the age of 2 I will provide each child their own labeled cup with or without straw according to the wants or needs of the child
Little Leaves Daycare LLC will be responsible for providing the following items: Hazard Free toys. Clean, unbroken toys and toys presenting nearly no choking hazards. Toys that are safe for all ages. The environment will have toys that pose nearly a zero choke risk to the younger children.
Art/ Craft time daily will be provided.
Multiple times outside per day will be provided Rain or Shine. During rainy season please provide a rain jacket or rain suit plus rubber boots.
For children’s rest time Nap cots, daily clean sheets/blanket/pillow will be provided for each child. Pack n play provided for 2 and under with daily clean sheet.
Medical Care Information
This is an Oregon Health Authority requirement :The parent must provide Little Leaves Daycare with updated medical information regarding his or her child, such as information regarding the child's medical problems, immunizations (or religious, philosophical, or medical exemption) allergies, regular medications, physical handicaps, or restrictions on the child's physical activities. Information should also be provided as to whether the child has had measles, chicken pox, mumps, whooping cough, or any other contagious disease. This information should be provided to Little Leaves Daycare LLC prior to the child's first day of care.
If a child becomes ill, Little Leaves Daycare LLC will first try to reach the parent. If the parent cannot be reached, Little Leaves Daycare may contact the child's physician.
In case of a medical emergency, Little Leaves Daycare LLC will obtain the necessary emergency medical care for the child, including but not limited to transportation to an emergency room. The parent will be responsible for all costs and expenses incurred in connection with any medical care provided to the child, including the cost of transportation.
Prescription and non-prescription medications will be properly labeled and stored.
a) Non-prescription medications or topical substances must be labeled with the child's name.
b) Prescription medications must be in the original contained and labeled with the child's name, the name of drug, dosage, directions for administering, and the physician's name.
(Provider and parent will sign form and provider will keep date and time log of when the medication is given to said child)
c) Medication requiring refrigeration must be kept in separate, tightly covered container, marked "medication," in the refrigerator.
d) A sunscreen form will be signed by parents agreeing/ disagreeing for sunscreen to be applied to child during the sunny days. You will be provided the SPF and ingredient info or provide your own. If providing your own, you must label with your child's first and last name and that sunscreen will be used only on your child.
e) If your child has an epi pen provider and parent will sign a form agreeing provider to use the epi pen on your child in an event of anaphylaxis.
Sick Child Policy
The goal of Little Leaves Daycare is to keep both the children and the caregivers healthy. Therefore, if a child exhibit any of the symptoms listed below, the child will not be allowed to attend the childcare facility until the symptoms are no longer present or unless the parent has obtained a statement from the child's doctor that the child is not contagious. The final decision as to whether a child will be admitted to the childcare facility will be made in the sole discretion of the provider.
This policy applies to the following symptoms:
a. Fever of 100 F (temp. taken under the arm) b. Persistent diarrhea c. Continuous coughing d. Irregular breathing e. Unusual rashes f. Vomiting g. Yellowish color to the eyes or skin h. Swallowing difficulty i. Persistent and/or excessive crying j. Discharge from eyes or ears k. Excessive drowsiness l. Lice m. Communicable disease as defined by the Oregon Health Authority
If a child exhibits any of these symptoms while present at the child care facility, the parent will be notified and must immediately remove the child. The child may be isolated from the other children at the childcare facility until the parent arrives.
Little Leaves Daycare LLC will notify the parent of any contagious diseases about which the provider has knowledge that a child may have been exposed to while at the childcare facility.
The parent is expected to inform Little Leaves Daycare of any illness or problem of a child that might affect other children at the childcare facility.
The parent is responsible for arranging alternate care if the child is sick or is otherwise unable to attend the childcare facility. Childcare fees may be adjusted for the days that a sick child does not attend the childcare facility. If a physician's note is provided, childcare fees for the relevant day(s) will be waived for each full day that the child is absent.
Little Leaves Daycare will not administer prescription or over-the-counter medication to a sick child. All medications must be in the original container with the child's name on it.
DO NOT send child to daycare with headlice. Do NOT send child to daycare with pink eye.
Emergencies
Emergency telephone numbers are posted at each telephone. Emergency evacuation plans are posted at each exit. Periodically, the children will practice the evacuation plans.
In case of an emergency, Little Leaves Daycare will first try to reach the parent. If the parent cannot be reached, Little Leaves Daycare will then contact the child's emergency contact person(s) as listed in the Day Care Contract.
It is unavoidable that children will incur scratches and scrapes while playing. These minor injuries will be treated by Little Leaves Daycare with antiseptic and a bandage. Little Leaves Daycare will inform the parent of the minor injury and the treatment provided verbally and via email.
Discipline
Little Leaves Daycare LLC will explain the rules of the childcare facility to all children under its care, as appropriate. When a child understands the rules but chooses not to follow the rules, then Little Leaves Daycare may discipline the child using age-appropriate techniques, which consist of the following: Extra quiet time/rest. Safe space for the child to tantrum without harming other kids in the daycare. Taking deep breaths in and out if that works for the child, reading a book about the emotion they are having trouble processing. If necessary, Little Leaves Daycare LLC will discuss other options with the parent.
Social Media/Movies: Little Leaves Daycare LLC will post ZERO photos/videos directly of children in care. Registration form will be provided to sign either allowing or denying pictures/videos of the child in care to be shared via email with other families enrolled in Little Leaves Daycare. If allowing photos/videos to be taken of your child Little Leaves Daycare is not liable or responsible for the photos/videos that other parents share on their social media, and/or emails and texts. If an age-appropriate movie is planned for a movie day parent will be notified ahead of time to either approve or deny the okay for their child to watch. If you do not respond to the notification of the movie, it is automatically assumed you are giving permission for your child to watch.
Monthly Fire Drills will be conducted and other emergency drills every other month.
Security cameras are on the premises, this is a must and is acknowledged by parent according to this policy. Another form will be signed in agreement by parent.
Pickup of a Child
To ensure the safety of the children attending the childcare facility, Little Leaves Daycare LLC has established the following procedures for the pickup of a child from its facility: Only a parent or an Emergency Contacted listed may pick up the child.
The provider will not be transporting child unless in the event of an emergency/or the child needing a ride home in extreme circumstance of a parent or emergency contact being unable to pick up the child. A waiver by provider and parent shall be signed in agreement.
Day Care Contract
The parent must review and sign the Day Care Contract prior to the child's first day of care.
Equal Opportunity
No child will be denied care on the basis of race, color, sex, disability, age, national origin, medical information, or religion of either the parent or the child.
Confidentiality
Little Leaves Daycare LLC will keep files on each child confidential. All private information exchanged between the parent and the provider will remain confidential.
Child Abuse and Neglect
Little Leaves Daycare LLC will carry out its obligation to report all suspected cases of child abuse and/or neglect to the proper authorities.
Child Care Regulations
Little Leaves Daycare LLC operates in full compliance with all state and local childcare regulations.
We have a 1600 sqft outdoor play area with swings, slide, caterpillar tunnel, and climbing dome. Separate outdoor play space for 1-2 year olds coming soon!
FAQ:
Why do you require payment up front?
-Requiring payment up front protects Little Leaves Daycare LLC and the parents because requiring payment up front means no risk of having to establish a late payment fee policy. ERDC is also able to be billed at the beginning of the month before the child is in care.
Do you charge for missed days/holidays?
-Little Leaves Daycare LLC charges flat fees so if you're in the same range of hours meeting part time or full time the charge is the same no extra charges but no discount charges.
Is it required for my child to have all shots on the vaccine schedule to attend daycare?
It is a licensing requirement that I either have the vaccine record or a medical/religious or philosophical exemption on file. This will be kept confidential.
How does part time care work?
Little Leaves Daycare LLC charges a flat fee. You choose what day/or days your child attends on a set schedule that equals out to 135 hours or less per month.
Do you have pets?
Yes. I like keeping pets separate from the kids. (Licensing requires cats and dogs be vaccinated so they are) the outdoor cats sometimes greet on the front deck but typically are not in the backyard where kids play. I also have a pet pig and ducks and chickens the kids love to watch from the playroom window.
How does nap time work?
Each child is assigned their own cot with clean sheets with name labeled nap mat/pillow. Baby is assigned pack n play to sleep in with clean sheet daily and following OCC approved safe sleep training guidelines.
What will the typical day be like for my child?
-Monthly themes for the month (Example Axolotl! The main activities / books and crafts will be based off the theme). Daily story time, activities such as flannel board stories, crafts/coloring, a weekly 'extra' fun craft, and daily outside time rain or shine.
