Our Community’s Impact

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, True North of Columbia raised $153,000 at the 2025 Little Black Dress event. This extraordinary show of support is more than a number, it represents hope, healing, and tangible change for survivors in Boone County.

Because of you, survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, sex trafficking, and stalking have access to strength, safety, and stability when they need it most. Your support helps ensure survivors are met with compassion, believed without question, and connected to critical resources that empower them to rebuild their lives.

These funds help sustain essential services such as safe shelter, advocacy, crisis support, and prevention efforts, creating pathways from crisis to independence. Every dollar raised reinforces a community where survivors are not alone and where violence is met with action, care, and accountability.
