Strawberry Thief

Screen printed in black, fired once (on commerical bisque tiles), then painted in, with water color glazes. Each layer of glaze must be fired on to the tile several times for the depth of the colors. Finished off with a gloss glaze. This mural is my inturpitation of this famous tapestry William made in the late 1800s. Mural is approxamently 20"x20" perfect for a backsplash. Grout into the wall or hang on backer board.

These are made just to make you smile. Each has their own personality, with a key hole for hanging on the back.

Mostly Black Birds but some can be colorful birds too.

Each has a keyhole on the back to hang from a nail.

Birds have different things in their mouths, fish, blueberry, cherry, worm, leaf and french fry.

Garden birds have a positive word on the stake, with the world like it is I began to worry about the negative out there and decided to put a positive word on the stake, that would go into the ground as a good intention. I chose words I thought the world needed more of such as - Love, Peace, compassion, empathy, harmony, kindness and healing.
