Kinding Sindaw (KS) is a nonprofit dance theater community of artists, educators, and indigenous tradition-bearers founded in 1992 which exists to assert, preserve, reclaim, and re-create the epic legends and oral history of Mindanao, Southern Philippines. KS serves as a cultural and educational resource for NYC by providing workshops on dance, music, and martial arts supplemented by lectures on the art forms' narrative context and historical significance. As a resident of La MaMa E.T.C., KS has produced 10 off-Broadway dance dramas. By presenting ancestral stories, KS bridges across cultures while shedding light on the plight of indigenous peoples.

Kyra Cuevas (she/her/siya) is a multifaceted woman, whose passions tackles the relationships between erasure, discovery, and celebration with a special lens on equity. Cuevas toggles between mediums--from urban planning, community organizing, multimedia design, architecture and the performing arts (poetry, sound/music and songwriting). Her work has been featured on the Astoria Post, Malaya Movement (under a pseudonym for political safety), and Lebbus Woods’ Four Ideal Houses blog. She is the founder of Diverse Streets Initiative, an informal arts collective that temporarily converts streets into exhibition spaces to propel the voices of BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrant and allied artists and collectives.

Rohan Zhou-Lee, pronouns They/Siya/祂 (Tā) is a queer Black-Asian author, dancer, and organizer in New York City. Zhou-Lee is the founder of the Blasian March, an initiative to build solidarity between Black, Asian and Blasian communities through education and celebration. They have been featured as an activist on AJ+, CNN, NBC Chicago, WNYC, Gothamist, Hella Pinay, and other news outlets. Their writing on Black-Asian solidarity can be found on them. magazine and Mochi Magazine. Podcast interviews with siya can be heard at The Bánh Mì Chronicles, What Gives?, Militantly Mixed, and Sippin’ Tea With Dr. G. They have also presented on this topic and intersectional feminist activism at Dominican University, Northwestern University, University of Michigan, UCLA Berkeley, the Midwest Mixed Conference 2021, and has served on multiple panels. Zhou-Lee holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Ethnomusicology from Northwestern University.

Bibingka Mama is a Pinay Drag Queen, Baker, Songwriter, and Entertainer, serving Filipino cuisine with a funky twist. Their signature dish, Bibingka, is an ooey-gooey, coconutty Filipino rice cake dessert. After perfecting the family recipe, Bibingka Mama realized that most Americans weren’t familiar with Bibingka and decided to begin building an empire to share the Filipino culture through food and entertainment. They began selling these delicious rice cakes derived and modified from their family recipe at local New York Pop-up events. Their goal is to share the Filipino culture and food with the world.

Daphne Palasi Andreades is a writer from Queens, New York.
