Lithobrake's self-titled LP is 16 original songs. Lithobrake wrote, arranged, recorded, performed, produced, mixed, edited, and built it 100% on their own. It is a product of pure unadulterated DIY creativity, captured over months in a chilly storage space somewhere in Washington DC in 2023. It is available on all streaming platforms on May 31st, 2024. Once we get signed and the money starts just pouring in like we know it does in the industry these days, we'll be releasing it on limited edition heat-signature platinum vinyl with edible record sleeves that regenerate when left in the sun. But until then it will be streaming anywhere you get your music.

Lithobrake is Washington DC's newerest punk band.
Craig Grande has been scarfing down and spitting out underground music since he was a kid. He grew up in New Jersey on a diet of freeform independent FM radio, mixes from his hipster high school teachers, and burned CDs from friends' cool older sisters.
In 2021, after Woodfir disbanded, he formed Lithobrake as guitarist frontperson with longtime collaborator Al Shipley, an accomplished local drummer producer and music critic. They found bass ringer and OG third-wave emo veteran Kyle Nicholson by floating around on good ol Craigslist. In 2024 they discovered rara avis guitarist Zahin Huq, whose glittering tone completed diamond-in-the-rough sound they were looking for.
Famously described us as "garage rock for emo kids," Lithobrake's sound is a stew of jangly microwaved punk, psych-inspired rockouts, and wall-punching heel-stomping post-punk.
Constantly compared to 90s slacker indie rawk, their influences actually come more from 80s and 90s post-punk and post-hardcore. They draw from a deep old well of "alternative music" new and old.
