Cornell Notes in Use -
How to Fit into a Social Studies Classroom:
If you are thinking about using Cornell Notes, it's suggested to introduce Cornell notes right away in a semester. Any time that a teacher has a lecture or power points, one can make sure to highlight areas of importance for struggling readers so they can make sure to take notes on it. In a social studies classroom, students should questions sources, the why and how behind events, so Cornell notes will help them solidify answers and keep track of main ideas and summaries of lessons so they can use the notes for review before summative assessments as well.
