How to Fit into a Social Studies Classroom:
This would be a great strategy for social studies students if we are learning about anything with multiple viewpoints; Economics (CEO, business owner, consumer), history (civilian, soldier, president, different sides), novels for text sets (different characters). By having students explore different points of view and sharing with each other, they would be able to see a larger breathe of history or any subject matter. Social studies often requires (or is better learned) with multiple POV and showing events and history not just from the “winners” POV. So having students explore others opinions and ways of thinking could open up their understanding of subject matter and possibly life skills.
