The action of preventing user to access certain pages called Blocking. By default nothing is blocked in LIT. You can add individual sites, add specific words in URLs or use the Presets.
For more convenient blocking we collected the most common sites of three categories: Adult sites, Video sites and Social Media sites. By checking a preset the most visited few sites of each category will be blocked. However our list may not contain the site you want to block and it remains visible for you. In this case please add the site specifically to the Blocked Sites list.
You can block individual sites under Settings > Blocking > Block Sites by entering them into the textarea. Please add one site per line.
You can block specific words in the URL under Settings > Blocking > Block Words by entering them into the textarea. Please note that this won't block sites in that specific category, it will check only the URL for presence of the provided words. For example you enter "news" into the Blocked Words list, then https://www.nbcnews.com/ will be blocked since it has the word, but https://www.bbc.com/ won't be blocked because it does not have the word "news" in the URL. Please add one word per line.
Overlay at the moment has 3 different text field where you can add text: Title, Text and a Hint. Title is the top element, text is the middle and Hint is the bottom one. In order to change the texts go to Settings > Overlay and change the required field.
