ListGrab does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything it does happens locally, inside your own browser.
WHAT LISTGRAB DOES
ListGrab is a Chrome extension that reads the product listings on a web page you are currently viewing — name, price, link, and photo — and lets you export that information to an Excel file on your own computer.
DATA WE COLLECT
None. ListGrab has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind. We do not operate any server that receives data from your browser.
HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS
- Scanning happens locally. When you click "Scan This Page," ListGrab reads the page's content directly inside your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
- Product photos. If you choose to embed thumbnails in the Excel file, your browser fetches those images directly from the website you're scanning — the same way loading that page normally would. This never passes through a server we control.
- The Excel file. Your export is generated entirely inside the browser and saved straight to your computer. We never see it.
PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST
- activeTab: lets ListGrab read the page you're currently on, only after you click the extension icon and press "Scan."
- scripting: lets ListGrab inject its scanning logic into that same active tab to read the listings and build your Excel file.
ListGrab does not request <all_urls>, tabs, history, or cookies permissions.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
None. No ads, no analytics SDK, no trackers.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
ListGrab is not directed at children and does not collect information from anyone, of any age.
