LISFF is an annual celebration of short cinema organized by a small group of people yearning for visual stimulation. Each year we receive hundreds of submissions from all over the world and present the best as Official Selections. We offer (cash) awards for the Best Actor, Best Comedy, Animation, Documentary, Music Video, Drama, and Horror --Best Home Grown and a Grand Prize.

We are fans of film. We love the stories, we love the people, we love the festival. We collect and share eclectic cinematic experiences of the world in an intimate venue, downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania --a backdrop of charming colonial brick buildings bursting with art, surrounded by miles of farmland and only a short distance from NYC, Philadelphia, and the Baltimore-Washington area.

The 2019 film festival will occur from 10-12 October 2019 in downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA. We are screening 69 short films from all over the world. Prepare to be amazed.
