Our Story
Before mainstream Italian food hit Long Island, there was Nonna Lina - ready to take on the culinary world with a wooden spoon and zero patience for subpar breadsticks. Born in a small village in southern Italy, Nonna learned to cook beside her Nonna using fresh herbs from their garden and recipes passed down through generations. Nonna Lina came to Long Island in 1961 with nothing but really good breadsticks and a dream. Today, her granddaughter Lisbeth honors her Nonna by serving up the same old-school Italian dishes she used to make - like her famous meatballs and breadsticks. Everything here is made with love, fresh ingredients, and just a dash= of Nonna’s attitude. Because around here, you don’t eat until you're full—you eat until Nonna says you're done.
