Lisa Windsteiger

Current position

I am Associate Professor (Tenured) at the University of Salzburg, Research Director at the ifo Institute, a CESifo Research Affiliate and Associate Editor of the Journal of Economic Inequality. 

My research focuses on behavioral economics, public economics and political economy. I have worked in particular on (perceptions of) inequality, socio-economic segregation and demand for redistribution, and I use survey experiments to analyse which factors affect public support for (economic) policies.
