Registering to Vote You can register to vote online. You must have a SC Driver's License or DMV ID.
It must have your current address on it.
You can also register by mail, fax, or email by printing the form found online (link below).

You can register in person at the DMV or at the County Building, 1930 University Parkway. Check scvotes.gov for what types of ID are excepted when registering in person.

Early Voting begins on October 20th-31st, 8:30-5:00 pm daily. During early voting everyone votes at the County Building, 1930 University Parkway. It's the easiest way to get your vote in on your own schedule.
Absentee Voting Applications can be made at any time. You can call, write or visit the County Building to apply for absentee voting. Call 803-642-2028. Mail to Aiken County Government Center, P.O. Box 3127, Aiken, SC 29802. The application is then mailed to you. The deadline to return your application is 5:00 pm on October 24. Ballots are then sent to your address, typically 30 days prior to the election. You complete your ballot and have your signature witnessed by anyone over 18 yo.
Absentee Ballots must be received by 7:00 pm on November 4th.
Regular Voting is on November 4th at local precincts. Not all precincts are open for smaller elections, so we will need to update info when it is announced.
