The Process

Pattern planned and drawn

Each piece is cut out, numbered, glued to glass and rough cut with pattern paper attached

Pieces are closely cut by hand,  ground and added back to the pattern

Paper is removed from the pieces and they are put in place on the pattern

Lead Channel (came) is measured, cut and  added between glass pieces

Pieces are nailed to the building board to keep them in place tightly

Zinc Frame is added as a border and solder is added between all lead pieces

The completed window is puttied, cleaned and polished
