About the Artist

Lisa is a seasoned Instructional Technology Educator with over 25 years of experience — but her first love has always been art. Holding an Undergraduate Degree in Fine Arts, Lisa’s passion spans across many mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography.

As her professional career grew, the time she could dedicate to her own art began to shrink. Searching for a new creative outlet, Lisa took her first stained glass class in the fall of 2003 — and was immediately captivated. What began as small projects like framed invitations, sun catchers, and patterned windows quickly turned into thoughtful, handcrafted gifts for family and friends.

As interest in her unique stained glass creations grew, Lisa saw an opportunity to blend passion with purpose. In 2004, Lisa’s Glass Works was born! With newly purchased supplies and a home studio in Decatur, Georgia, Lisa began designing and crafting custom, one-of-a-kind stained glass windows—each piece a true reflection of her artistic vision and craftsmanship.

After moving to East Atlanta in 2015, the business paused while plans for a new studio took shape. Now, with that dream realized in the fall of 2023, Lisa’s Glass Works is officially back in action!
