Welcome! I am Lisa Lim and I focus on public policy and communication.
I am an Assistant Professor at the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy. I earned my PhD degree in Education from the University of Rochester, USA. Prior to joining the GSPP, I worked as Visiting Professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea.
As an international consultant, I have more than 15 years of experience in communicating and participating on policy processes with numerous government agencies and international development organizations such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), USAID, JICA, and KOICA in Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia contexts. My policy communication experience also involves writing policy reports/ briefs and delivering presentations to consulting firms, government agencies, think tanks, and advocacy groups; and providing policy recommendations for various education programs in low and middle-income countries.
