I'm beginning my second year teaching as a lecturer of mathematics at Auburn University at Montgomery for the Fall 2025 semester. I previously taught as the mathematics instructor at Campbellsville University in Harrodsburg, KY for the 2022-2024 school years and for University of North Dakota's online mathematics program as an assistant teaching professor for the 2021-2022 school year.
Before coming to Alabama, I lived in Kentucky for 7 years, and prior to that, I lived in Southern California for my whole life. I received my Bachelor's in Mathematics in May 2017 from California State University, Fullerton in Fullerton, CA and my Master's in Mathematics in October 2019 from University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. I've wanted to be a math teacher since I was 3 years old, so I'm excited to finally reach my lifetime goal!
Apart from mathematics, I'm actively involved in the obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and, just recently, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) communities as an advocate. I'm a lover of Taylor Swift, Animal Crossing, animals (especially frogs, geckos, and cats), all things Disney, board games (especially Spirit Island), and discovering new foods. In my spare time, I love to talk to my family, spend time with my boyfriend, and play with my cats.
