My AI Journey
An early adopter of ChatGPT, I now use various types of AI daily. (My two favorites are Claude and Perplexity.) In fact, AI has become an essential part of everything I do, including:
Lesson planning/materials creation: content for study guides, exercises, etc
AI-enhanced pedagogy: guiding learners to use AI as a collaborative tool—vs just 'hitting the button'
Writing projects: incorporating AI to develop real critical thinking skills
Assessments: ensuring skills taught with AI are genuinely learned
Rubric redesign: adding criteria for AI-enhanced work (eg, maintaining voice, responsible use, coherence/cohesion)
