Teaching Experience

I teach Tax Factors for Financial Planning and International and Multistate Taxation in the Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Professional Accounting programs at the McCombs School of business. I have also taught Introduction to Taxation and Fundamentals of Taxation in the Masters of Professional Accounting and Bachelors of Business Administration programs at McCombs. From 2013 to 2020, I taught two tax elective courses for full-time MBA and MSx students at the Stanford Graduate School of Business: Individual Taxes and Financial Planning, and Taxes and Business Strategy. 

I have also taught tax seminars in the doctoral programs at Stanford and London Business School. As a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin, I taught managerial accounting.

Awards

In 2023, I was nominated for the Jim Nolan Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching at the McCombs School of Business. In 2018, I was the inaugural recipient of the Amplifier Award celebrating Stanford GSB faculty members who provided students broad and inclusive perspectives that prepared them to lead effectively in their jobs and communities. In 2019 and 2020, I was a finalist for the Stanford GSB MBA Distinguished Teaching Award.
