A great way for students to have in-depth information literacy instruction and learn about the research process and take a deep-dive into all our library resources. LIBR C100 and LIBR C111 are CSU/UC transferable and prepare students to have a strong foundation in academic research. I encourage you to consider enrolling in these courses!
Search our library catalog to see all our print and eBook collections. We have over 30,000 eBooks that are accessible 24/7. The log in for all virtual library resources is the same log in credentials used to log in to Canvas and college email.
Our most robust and comprehensive research supports for our students. We have 36 full-text article databases, including JSTOR, Nexis Uni, Academic Search Complete, Opposing Viewpoints, Films on Demand, and Gale Literature to name just a few. They provide 24/7 access to a wealth of information not found freely on the open web, including hundreds of thousands of full-text scholarly articles. In addition to a robust search interface, the databases provide handy tools to assist students with citing sources and emailing articles to themselves. You can view a full list of our databases and don't hesitate to contact a librarian if you need assistance using our databases.
You can view a list of all of our current LibGuides. While the library has a host of LibGuides, you might also like to look at our Library Research Orientation and our Plagiarism LibGuide.
APA 7th edition updates are here, and all instructors who require APA citation will be using the 7th edition this fall. We've got you covered! Go to the library APA LibGuide for updates on the changes to the new edition, formatting APA papers, in-text citations, References pages, and annotated bibliographies.
Available for students to attend throughout the semester, and they cover a variety of topics, such as MLA and APA citation, locating resources for research papers, avoiding plagiarism, and more. Here’s the workshop schedule!
Chat service provides students (and you!) access to an around-the-clock chat service. This consortium is staffed by college and university librarians from around the country (and by us) who have access to information about our services and can log in to our eCollections and assist students any time of the day or night. You can learn more about this service on our library blog.
