LiorChat — Privacy Policy

    LoviaChat (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an AI-assisted chat experience for adults (18+). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable laws, including the EU/UK GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK (Law No. 6698).

    1) What we collect

    We designed LoviaChat to collect as little data as possible.

        •    No account data. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or profile/alias information.

        •    On-device storage. Your chat history and content are stored locally on your device and are not automatically synced to our servers.

        •    Purchases (non-linked). We use RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives purchase receipts and related non-linked transaction information to validate your access. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

        •    Analytics (non-linked). We use Firebase Analytics to collect non-linked usage data (e.g., app version, feature usage, performance metrics, device information). This may be used to measure app performance and the effectiveness of advertising or promotional campaigns (without building a profile linked to your identity).

        •    AI chat content. Text, images, audio you choose to submit for AI processing are sent to our AI service providers only for the purpose of generating responses and improving reliability/safety of the service (e.g., abuse prevention, debugging). Do not submit sensitive personal data.

    We do not sell your personal data. We also do not use data to attempt to identify you.

    2) Purposes and legal bases

        •    Provide the service (process your prompts to return AI responses; manage entitlements): performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

        •    Maintain and improve the app, prevent abuse/fraud, and ensure security: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), balancing your rights.

        •    Analytics and measurement, including ad-related measurement (without linking to your identity): legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) and/or consent where required by local law.

        •    Compliance with law, tax, and accounting: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

    For KVKK, the corresponding legal grounds are: performance of contract, legitimate interests (without harming fundamental rights), and legal obligations.

    3) AI content and important disclaimers

        •    AI-generated material. All outputs (responses, images, audio, text) are produced by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsafe.

        •    Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for your use of AI outputs. We disclaim all warranties and liabilities to the fullest extent permitted by law regarding AI-generated content and decisions you make based on it.

        •    Do not use LoviaChat if you do not accept these terms or if you require professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.).

        •    Prohibited content. Do not submit unlawful, harmful, or sensitive personal data. We may use automated or manual safeguards to prevent abuse.

    4) Data sharing and recipients

    We do not disclose data to third parties except to provide the services described:

        •    RevenueCat (Purchases, non-linked). Processes purchase receipts and subscription status to manage your entitlements.

        •    Firebase Analytics (Usage, non-linked). Provides aggregate analytics and performance metrics.

        •    AI providers / content moderation providers. Process your prompts and content to generate responses and help keep the service safe and reliable.

    These providers act as processors/service providers on our behalf. We require them to protect data appropriately and use it only for our instructions.

    International processing. Our providers may process data on servers located outside your country (including the EU or the United States). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to protect your rights.

    5) Data retention

        •    On-device chat data: stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

        •    Purchases/entitlements (RevenueCat): retained as necessary to operate subscriptions, fight fraud, and meet financial/legal obligations.

        •    Analytics: retained in aggregated/non-linked form for a limited period consistent with app analytics practices (typically up to 12–24 months), then deleted or further aggregated.

    6) Your rights

    Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/UK under GDPR; Türkiye under KVKK), you may have the right to:

        •    Access your data, correct inaccuracies, erase data, restrict or object to processing, and portability (where applicable).

        •    Withdraw consent at any time (where processing relies on consent).

        •    Complain to a supervisory authority. In Türkiye, you may contact the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu (KVKK). In the EEA/UK, you may contact your local data protection authority.

    How to exercise your rights: Email loviachat@gmail.com. We will respond within the time limits required by law (normally within 30 days). Because we don’t maintain user accounts and store chat content on-device, we may ask you to take certain steps locally (e.g., delete app data or uninstall the app). Purchase records tied to platform stores may require contacting Apple and/or RevenueCat.

    7) Security

    We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data under our control. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for securing your device and avoiding submission of sensitive data.

    8) Children

    LoviaChat is not for children. You must be 18 years or older to use the app. We do not knowingly process children’s data. If you believe a minor is using LoviaChat, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

    9) Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
