Who says making and creating have to only be done at school?!
There are tons of FREE resources available for continuing our collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking through STEM making.
Check out this website for a few at-home STEM projects and suggestions for free app that support STEM learning.
Projects on this site include making: slime, a pringle ring, and longest paper chain!

BreakoutEDU is a beloved, fun experience in our library! The way I explain BreakoutEDU to my students is this: "It's just like an escape room, but online. You have to solve puzzles and problem-solve in order to 'escape' from, or finish, the game!" BreakoutEDU has put together online breakouts for students in grades K-12!! The breakouts span across content areas encourage participation in the four C's of education: creativity, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking. Yes, the puzzles are MEANT TO BE CHALLENGING, but FUN as well! Breakouts can be done alone, but they are really, really fun to do with other people, too, so during this time of social distancing, set up a Zoom meeting with your friends and complete it together!
