Lion Vince Reynolds
A Lion Since July 7, 1977 - Present
Lion Vince was born in National City, CA and has lived there almost his whole life. He had only left for a few years to serve his country in the US Air Force.
Lion Vince was always civic minded. He became an assistant Scout Master of troop 114 for the Boy Scouts of America in the mid 1960’s and that is where Brian and Vince first met. Brian as a Scout and Vince, his assistant Scout Leader.
He was later asked to join the National City Host Lions Club. Lion Vince was installed July 7, 1977 and has been a very active member ever since. He has served as Flag Day and White Cane chairman. Along with PDG John Kirk, he has been very helpful bringing the One Sight Program to National City.
When Brian finally became a Lion in January 2007, both Lions Vince and PDG John took him under their wings and made him the Lion he is today. After PDG John passed, Lion Vince continued Brian’s training in Lionism.
Lion Vince had never missed a meeting since 1977, even if he went on a vacation, he would find a Club nearby and attend a meeting. Over the last few years, he has had to miss a few meetings due to his health, but he has always comeback and wants to be kept up to date with what he had missed.
Lion Vince continues to be instrumental in forming Lion Brian’s dedication to his Lion’s duties and dedication to Lions worldwide.
Lion Vince Reynolds is a Lion through and through.
