CDU is a political party in LM which turns visions into action and a reality. The party was founded by harrison.09 in September 2023 and is still present and active to this day! We have consistently won the peoples hearts with what we do for LM, and our wonderful team making the future for the community brighter. CDU has never, and will never, put the people of LM in the back seat, and will continue to ensure YOU are the number one priority. We pride ourselves in getting you involved, who you are and your voice is what keeps LM moving. Every decision we implement is shared, judged, and sometimes even made by the people. How to apply.

There are two options to apply to join CDU. So let me, Keks, talk you through how to. We do require a few checks and a tiny bit of screening to ensure that we are recruiting people for support and not for the worse. Lets start with option 1, send us a quick DM.

OPTION 1: DM Keks OR Solivier.

Very simple and easy to do. Message either Keks or Solivier on discord asking to join the party. We will give you a short interview and ask a few questions relating to: about you, how you will contribute, how do you stand out, etc. We will then complete our own security checks and give you the result of your application. We are not very strict on who we let in, but we want to ensure that we are not letting a potential threat to LM into our party.

OPTION 2: Let us know on on the discord communications server.

This one is arguably simpler, but they're as simple as each other. Firstly, you can ping F7, Keks, Solivier, Neon or any other server moderator and await a response. Once noticed by CDU, we will then give you a short interview and ask a few questions relating to: about you, how you will contribute, how do you stand out, etc. We will then complete our own security checks. You will receive your results as soon as we are ready and have it all finalised.

FURTHER APPLICATIONS: Once you are in CDU, or you are already an existing member, you may apply for a role. Sometimes we may DM you asking if you would like a higher role within our party if we believe you are a good person for it. But we also do allow you to DM us! This time, there are no security checks as you're already in, but we will ask you: Why you would be good, what have you already done for CDU/LM, Why are you applying, etc.

Our Roots.

One day at school one of my friends approached me and asked me if I wanted to join a political minecraft server. Me being a fan of politics and a huge love for architecture. design, creativity and politics, I decided to join. On the first day I joined, I still remember when Neon and Solivier took me around Astro, then directed me to a spruce forest (A place in which I had chosen) where I began to build my “small village”. We began with the coastline, following on we built a first house and a new island; production began to take off and people loved what we were doing. On the 15th or 16th of September 2024, my first ever political party, CDU, was created. At first it was only me, but shortly after, members began to join. All of a sudden we hit 5 members! This was quite an achievements, keeping in mind the largest party only had around 20 members. (there were lots of parties back in 2023). We then came up with a name for our village, Düsseldorf, which was named after where my family originate. Soon after we started getting DM’s saying that people wanted to move to our village due to its beauty and overall how much better the quality of life was. Once again members began to increase, then role to roughly 8 members! CDU was pretty much known everywhere at this point! We really was a hit, people loved the name, our work, our values, manifesto, what we have brought to LM, and who we are in general. I then got a DM from the current president (Neon) saying: “Hey, wanna make Düsseldorf the capital city?”. Of course I took this offer, and that’s when everything took off. A parliament building was constructed, a Hydro-Mass-Food farm was constructed (Which had the power to feed all of LM), housing production increased, party members grew and so did our village. We started to become rich and our “small village” had turned into a thriving with life town. The agriculture, architecture, just everything was perfect and the people of Lion Madness really began to value us like never before. That was when we made a huge project. We built train stations across the whole of LM to link up everybody, supplying free, easy travel. This project took some time to complete, but this was when we thrived even more, people started to get the fact that CDU even had engineers and Redstone technicians. We continued to thrive for a bout a month, when in November, PiS (current ruling party at the time) and CDU made a coalition. I was promoted to prime minister and Neon stayed as president. Members were going crazy, we were almost in the 20's! CDU shortly after introduced the LM currency, policing system, AI villagers (to buy stuff from), a better governmental structure, food and nutrients, a whole new village, a parliament, a travel system and network, Lidl and Pfand concepts, estate agents, jobs, parks, events across the year, markets/shops, restaurants, bars/pubs, night clubs, literally anything and everything you can think of! On the 21st of December 2023, Me and president Neon signed a contract to allow me to become president, but he must stay in top government. All of LM at this point was celebrating and thriving about what next to come. We continued to supply for all until LM started to become inactive. People were saying: “LM is however many years old now, lets start fresh”. So, we done a vote for the people, a fresh start was voted. So, we began constructing a new server, the same one which we all play on; and it still hasn't even been completed! We are on a tight schedule to make sure we have this version 3 of LM minecraft server majority done before the October 2024 election. (Server release date is 30th/31st August 2024.) Back in the April election we had a different mc server, version 2, which CDU engineers built, (a file went corrupt and we did unfortunately loose it after the April election in July), Members came back and joined and were stunned to see how high we have boosted the standards, and people came back to LM! Even the LM owner, F7, joined CDU! And you’d never believe it, CDU/I was voted in to be president! I want to thank all LM members for your trust, kindness and votes. But things did take a turn, coming up to the September 2024 elections, I had to drop of out of the election about 48 hours before due to personal reasons and I had to act quickly. I had ruined our chances of winning this election, and it's true, we did infact loose. But, we took it on the chin and I came back to LM after my break and got moving again. This electoral term (September 2024 --> February 2025) has been horrendous under the opposition party, WC. Not even 5 things can be named by members of the party, LM has truly taken a halt. The election is on February 22nd and we hope to do the people proud, and we hope for your support. Let's get LM back on track: Vote CDU! ......We won! We are in power for our second term! Right now, we are working tirelessly for a better LM and we thank you for all of your support!
