I am interested in operations research and its applications to the design and management of large-scale service systems (networks), involving decision interactions between network operators and decentralized users. Example applications are urban transportation systems, retailer store operations (revenue management, choice-based optimization), e-commerce & omnichannel fulfillment.
Featuring significant computational requirement in the problems, I develop effective models and tools, leveraging state-of-the-art methodologies (e.g., machine learning, discrete optimization, and AI-assisted optimization), to efficiently characterize the strategic behaviors of stakeholders, design optimal policies to support decision-making, and infer managerial insights.
